「Shards of Time」 は、静止画と映像のあいだに広がる空間を探る実験的な写真シリーズです。各写真は記憶の断片を捉え、刹那的な瞬間と時間の連続性を映し出しています。縞状のイメージは、体験の重なりや知覚と記憶の相互作用を強調し、連続する瞬間の可視化や時間の重なりを通して、写真と映像のあいだに存在する空間を表現しようとするものです。
この作品は、写真が「一瞬」を切り取るという本質に着目しています。写真に映し出された風景には、時間の中で積み重なった歴史が宿り、シャッターを切るわずかな間にも微細な揺らぎが生じます。日常の光景は一見静止しているようでありながら、常に動き続けています。本シリーズでは、その揺らぎや時間の流れを再構成することで、可視化された瞬間の連続性や時間の層を伝えることを試みています。
Shards of Time is an experimental photography series exploring the space between still images and video. Each photograph captures fragments of memory, reflecting fleeting moments and the continuity of time. The striped images emphasize the layering of experiences and the interaction between perception and memory. Through the visible continuity of moments and overlapping of time, the project aims to express the space between photography and video.
This work focuses on the nature of photography to capture a single instant. The scenes depicted in the photographs carry layers of history accumulated over time, and even within the act of pressing the shutter, subtle fluctuations occur. In this series, I pay attention to the fact that everyday scenes, while seemingly still, are constantly in motion, and by reconstructing these fluctuations and the flow of time, I aim to convey the continuity of visible moments and the layering of time.
